Stara Baška is a small coastal village on the southern side of Krk Island, surrounded by dramatic hills and the crystal-clear Adriatic. Known for its beautiful pebble beaches, secluded bays and unspoilt landscape, it has kept the quiet, laid-back character that makes this part of the island so special.

 Peace, tranquillity and enchanting views is the shortest description of the impression you will get after climbing the hills above Stara Baška. A very nice hike in the mountains is from the village to Baška.  Don’t forget good shoes, water and sunscreens.

BIKING

Krk is completely covered by cycle paths, so the popular bike map page offers up to 273 different routes on Krk, which have convinced cycling fans. It is difficult to find a flat route on the island, and you have to climb up the valley of Stara Baška first, which will be a nice warm up.

KAYAKING

Kayaking along high cliffs, exploring hidden bays and enjoying nature is highly recommended if you like an active holiday. Recharge your batteries by renting a kayak and paddling through the turquoise waters to find your secret beach away from the crowds.
